asto Group

The asto Group develops sites to accommodate a high proportion of technology-based firms, as well as individual properties. Over the past 20 years the group has planned and realized throughout Germany sites focused on medical technology, biotechnology, new media, optical technologies, aeronautics and space. After each unit is constructed, an operating company provides management and administrative services. asto and its sister companies develop technology sites and the associated infrastructure. In the past 20 years the group has planned and managed sites in the fields of aeronautics and space, satellite navigation, biotechnology, medical technology, new media, innovative materials, photonics and environmental technology. Each project is always based on a thematic and strategic anchor at the particular location; in the case of ASTO-Park it is the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Oberpfaffenhofen research airport. asto supports companies with their strategic alignment at their (new) location. We help with defining the economic parameters of relocation, clarifying financing conditions and specifying viable architectural and operational requirements. asto plans and constructs its own single-tenant-buildings tailored to customer needs (administration, research and development, prototype construction, production, logistics) as well as additional multi-tenant buildings to accommodate small and medium-size companies in accord with the technological orientation of the location. asto offers the possibilities of either long-term rental or purchase of administration buildings and production plants. asto operates its own and outside properties through our inhouse Property Management. asto offers rental space meeting the latest architectural standards.
