The main mission of the Corsican Incubator is to provide project leaders with the skills and tools essential to the success and growth of an innovative company: coaching, techno-economic expertise, feasibility studies, IP advice, access to a wide network of skills, hosting of innovative project leaders on two sites in Ajaccio and Bastia. Beyond incubating innovative projects, whether linked to public research or not, INIZIÀ also carries out missions to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education, and to animate the regional innovation ecosystem. The incubator thus makes an important contribution to the innovation policy implemented on the island territory. As a territorial incubator, INIZIÀ is financially supported by the Territorial Collectivity of Corsica, the State (Ministry of Higher Education and Research) and the European Union, as well as by its founding members including the University of Corsica, the Urban Communities of Ajaccio and Bastia and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
