Super Capital emerged in 2018 as the brainchild of Corentin Orsini, initially conceived as a business angel community platform. The venture quickly evolved into a comprehensive financing group when Orsini partnered with Thibaut Gimenez and Frédéric Bouleuc to establish Super Capital VC in 2020. The organization expanded further in 2021 with the addition of partner Frédéric Baecke and the launch of Super Capital Leverage, completing their transformation into a holistic early-stage financing ecosystem. Today, the group specializes in comprehensive funding solutions spanning from pre-seed to Series A investments, offering entrepreneurs both equity and non-dilutive financing options.

The group operates through three distinct but complementary business units, each addressing specific funding needs in the startup ecosystem. Super Capital Broker serves as a connection point between promising startups and their extensive network of qualified Business Angels. This division maintains a sector-agnostic approach, facilitating investments across various industries and maturity levels with ticket sizes ranging from €50,000 to €500,000. Their broker service has demonstrated remarkable efficiency, orchestrating over 140 successful deals and channeling approximately €20 million in funding to innovative ventures within just three years of operation.

The venture capital arm, Super Capital VC, takes a more focused approach by directly investing in post-revenue French technology startups. Their investment strategy involves deploying capital in tickets ranging from €50,000 to €300,000, targeting companies that have already validated their market fit. To date, they have raised €10 million across two investment vehicles, each supported by approximately 145 investors who share their vision for the French tech ecosystem. This division has built a reputation for identifying promising technology ventures with strong growth potential and providing not just capital but strategic guidance to accelerate their development.

Completing their 360° financing approach, Super Capital Leverage specializes in maximizing funding potential through non-dilutive mechanisms. This division helps entrepreneurs amplify their equity investments by facilitating access to various debt instruments through an extensive network of financial partners, including lessors, retail and investment banks, and specialized debt funds. Their expertise in structuring complementary financing has proven invaluable, having supported more than 20 startups in securing over €10 million in additional capital from approximately thirty financial partners.
