Turkish Development Fund

Turkish Development Fund was established in 2019 as an initiative of the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye with the strategic mission of fostering sustainable economic growth through targeted investments. With approximately USD 140 million in committed capital distributed across nine specialized sub-funds, TDF has positioned itself as a cornerstone investor in Türkiye's evolving financial ecosystem. The organization's structure enables it to address multiple development priorities simultaneously while maintaining alignment with national economic objectives.

The fund's portfolio encompasses a diverse range of investment vehicles, including the Regional Development Fund, which focuses on reducing geographic economic disparities, and the Technology and Innovation Fund, which targets emerging tech sectors. Additional specialized vehicles such as the Development Participation Venture Capital Investment Fund and the Innovative and Advanced Technologies Venture Capital Investment Fund allow TDF to provide tailored capital solutions across various stages of business development, from early-stage startups to more established enterprises requiring growth capital.

TDF has demonstrated particular commitment to nurturing Türkiye's entrepreneurial landscape through dedicated vehicles like Invest101, TÜBİTAK BiGG Fund, and TÜBİTAK BiGG+ Venture Capital Investment Fund. These initiatives specifically support early-stage innovation and scientific research commercialization, providing crucial funding for projects emerging from Türkiye's research institutions and universities.
