Seed fund Technological Accelerator Gliwice Sp. z o.o. conducts activities in the field of co-financing R&D projects in early stages of development (Proof of Principle and Proof of Concept). Technological Accelerator Gliwice supports ideas that are in the seed phase, where the risk of investment failure is the highest, but can be effectively verified by our fund. Creators can be entrepreneurs, universities, research institutes, scientific institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as individuals, i.e., individual innovators. The leading areas of interest for the Fund are INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES, in particular Multifunctional materials and composites with advanced properties, including nanoprocesses and nanoproducts, as well as: Electronics based on conductive polymers, Automation and robotics of technological processes, Sensors (including biosensors) and intelligent sensor networks, Intelligent networks and geoinformation technologies, Optoelectronic systems and materials, Intelligent creative technologies. Complementary areas include: Biotechnological processes and products of specialty chemistry and environmental engineering, Modern technologies for obtaining, processing and using natural resources and manufacturing their substitutes, Minimization of waste generation, including non-processable waste, and material and energy use of waste (recycling and other recovery methods), Medical engineering technologies, including medical biotechnologies, High-efficiency, low-emission and integrated systems for energy generation, storage, transmission and distribution, Intelligent and energy-efficient construction, Environmentally friendly transport solutions, Innovative technologies for water treatment and recovery and reducing its consumption.
