Company Description

The technology fund is a climate policy instrument of the Swiss federal government established in the CO2 Act of December 23, 2011. It offers loan guarantees of up to CHF 3 million to companies developing and commercializing innovations that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote renewable energy use, and conserve natural resources. These guarantees cover up to 100% of loans issued by banks and other lenders. Applications undergo review based on technological suitability and the applicant's financial capacity before being submitted to a guarantee committee for approval.
